8th Annual Tin Cup Golf Tournament

 

 

 

 

 


The 7th Annual Tin Cup Golf Tournament was held on August 4 at Deer Valley Golf Club.  The participants enjoyed a day full of networking, socializing and, of course golfing. Congratulations to the team from Choice Electrical Supply Co. including captain Jonathan Yung, Kevin Black (Wirewerks Network Innovations), Kenny Klein and Roth Uy (Klein’s Cabling & Electric) who repeated as champions again this year.

The Electrical Contractors Association of Saskatchewan

The Electrical Contractors Association of Saskatchewan (ECAS) is a provincial association dedicated to representing the interests of electrical contractors, suppliers, manufacturers and engineers across the province. The association is the provincial voice of the industry and advocates on behalf of its members.

The Electrical Contractors Association of Saskatchewan is the provincial voice of the electrical industry.

Vision

Represent and service all Electrical Contractors and members within Saskatchewan by fostering discussion between industry and government. We organizing activities designed to improve the electrical industry.

Safety

The ECAS is pleased to offer CSA Z462 compliant Arc Flash & Shock eLearning training through its partnership with ESPS Electrical Safety Program Solutions INC. (ESPS).

Training

A variety of training options are available to all ECAS members. Go to the Activities Tab above and click on Education.

Advocacy

The primary directive of ECAS is to engage all associations, agencies, government ministries and businesses associated with the electrical industry in discussion, deliberation and decision making that will positively affect the overall improvement of the industry.

Affinity

ECAS is currently working with a variety of vendors to add to our existing list of companies who support our association by offering member discounts or benefits.  Announcements about new partnerships will be communicated via member emails and our quarterly newsletters.

Social

Several events for the association are arranged each year. The golf classic TIN CUP is enjoyed by members each year.

As an ECAS member you are entitled to membership with the Canadian Electrical Contractors Association.

CECA is a federation of provincial and territorial electrical contractor groups and undertakes to represent electrical contractors at the national level. Each member CECA appoints one representative to the Association’s Board of Directors. In jurisdictions with no provincial CECA, direct sustaining membership is permitted.

NECA

NECA is the voice of the $160 billion electrical construction industry that brings power, light, and communication technology to buildings and communities across the U.S.

SCSA

The Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association (SCSA) is an industry-funded nonprofit organization that provides cost-effective, accessible safety training and advice to employers and employees throughout the province. Companies that are registered with Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) and fall under the CLASS B – BUILDING CONSTRUCTION rate class are members of the SCSA. SCSA members and supporter members receive preferred pricing on classroom training year-round. The SCSA equips more than 10,000 workers each year with the education and training they need to achieve their organization’s safety goals.
